The Sydney and surrounds tourism industry invites you to celebrate International Women's Day (IWD) with Women in Tourism on March 8, 2021.

The 2021 IWD theme is 'Choose To Challenge' and at this year's event we will be grounding this topic in a broader view of diversity and inclusion; we will ask what does choose to challenge mean right now; what are the things we should be challenging; and how do we challenge 'the right way' in the workplace and in our daily lives.

Our panel guests include;

Branka Pupovac - Branka is a Paralympic wheelchair tennis competitor. She won a silver medal at the 2000 Sydney Games in the Women's Doubles event.

Jennifer Gaskin - Jennifer is Country Manager for the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and an Account Director within The Walshe Group. As a proud English and Ghanaian woman, she is passionate about inclusion within the travel industry.

Aunty Margret Campbell - Aunty Margret is Founder and Owner of Dreamtime Southern X and has operated in the Australian cultural tourism industry for the last 21 years. Margret is an Aboriginal Elder and Cultural Knowledge Holder.

Carolyn Childs Co-founder and CEO of MyTravelResearch.com will MC the lively panel discussion.

The lunch event kicks off at 12 noon and the ticket includes a welcome drink on arrival and a 2-course sit down lunch at the new Seta Sydney restaurant in the CBD.
